Welcome to AnEco, where sustainability meets pet nutrition!

We are passionate about creating high-quality, all-natural pet treats that are not only healthy for your furry companions but also kind to the planet. We work directly with small-scale fishermen to turn hated, invasive fish into delectably healthy treats that are beyond sustainable, all while improving livelihoods in fishing communities where we work. We currently work with the plecos, or most commonly known as ikan bandaraya.

Our treats are made from 100% clean, locally sourced invasive fish (pleco), helping to restore balance to our aquatic ecosystems while providing your pets with a nutritious and delicious snack.

WHY
INVASIVE FISH?

Pleco fish are not only an invasive species but a serious threat to local ecosystems. They disrupt aquatic habitats and endanger native fish populations. By sourcing pleco as our main ingredient, we help reduce their environmental impact while giving them a new, positive purpose.

This alternative protein source is not only sustainable but highly nutritious. It’s lean, packed with essential vitamins and minerals, and a great choice for pets with sensitive diets. Plus, using invasive fish helps us avoid overfishing and reduces reliance on traditional protein sources with high environmental costs.

AnEco’s Goals

We want to help the ecosystem, and our local communities. For us, we want to support our local fishermen by providing income through selling us their catch. We planned to create dozens of new jobs throughout Malaysia by turning these invasive fish into nutritious, eco-friendly pet snacks.

We're planning to remove tons of these invasive fish, and in turn helping to restore our native fisheries!
